Three curated artworks on a theme:
Be Seen
We’re coming up for air and into the summer sunlight! This month, Love In Transit is above ground in SoHo, exploring what it really means to let yourself Be Seen.

"Be Seen"
Here is a clarion call for boldness! The letters demand to be noticed. Nothing conflicts with their message.
And yet, even as I create these words, part of me wants to slip into my invisible cloak. It’s safe there, comfortable and familiar. But my eyes are peeking out now, curious about what’s on the other side. Perhaps you can show me how it is done.

"My Family"
The tall red tree stands out. It asks to be seen without pushing its way to the front. Notice that it is not standing alone; it’s supported by a family of trees around it. Though each tree bears its own unique entity, their roots are deeply intertwined. That is what family feels like to me. We stand beside one another, our roots entangled in the best possible way. We give each other air, shade, light and the kind of laughter that makes it easier to take up space in the world.

"Our Lady of the Green"
Our lady arrives quietly, crescent moon in hand, stepping out of that deep green stillness where things slow down and calm takes over.
Her scepter is a heart, the seat of her power. She is one with nature, and yet she stands out, unmistakable in her robe of sacred orange. Wherever she travels, she brings peace. They say she can bend moonbeams to make your dreams come true. I believe it.

Our fifth @loveintransitNYC pop-up installation is taking place July 6th – August 3rd at Modern Haus on Grand and 6th in SoHo. Come find us!
